PACT

Our Pre-Apprenticeship Certification Training (PACT) curriculum designed by the Home Builders Institute is one of only three U.S. Department of Labor-recognized pre-apprenticeship curricula.  In 2012 the Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship awarded HBI’s PACT program the Registered Apprenticeship Innovator and Trailblazer Award.

Using PACT we institute formal classroom training and on the job experience to insure the successful certification of participants. PACT training lays a foundation for crucial basic knowledge and skills needed in the building / construction industry.  327 Careers integrates a unique combination of new and existing programs to include the crucial foundation of intensive Cognitive Behavior Training (CBT) to teach participants important life / soft skills much needed in today’s society, not just the workplace

OUR INSTRUCTORS

Our Instructors / Coaches teaching PACT are credentialed by the Home Builders Institute and must complete the training course by the HBI in order to teach the PACT program. They must possess journey-level skills in the trades (usually 5 years of experience), a passion for the industry and a commitment to sharing their craft.

THE RESULTS

This organized, innovative and comprehensive training model provides a solid foundation for all participants to insure success and future employment opportunities in a fast moving construction career.

Graduate placements with motivated employers / partner companies with a high demand for certified skilled labor workers make an immediate and significant impact to the futures and employment outcomes for participants and employers.

Students who graduate from a HBI Licensed PACT program enter the job market with an: Industry-recognized, portable, pre-apprenticeship credential that is: Accepted by The Department of Labor (DOL) and qualifies them for Employment in the U.S. Building Industry nationally.

We take pride in knowing that the national job placement rate of PACT graduates over the last 3 years is averaging around 86%.
