Pre-Apprenticeship students participate in our intensive
Our HBI trainers hold a minimum of 5 years experience in the
ON THE JOB & CLASSROOM TRAINING
In week 3 Pre-Apprentices are placed with employers and begin paid on the job training at a discounted rate of just $10 per hour. During weeks 3-16 apprentices spend 4 days a week with employers for on the job training and 1 day a week in the classroom to continue construction knowledge and soft / life skills training. Our coaches work and communicate with employers, associates, foremen and team leaders to ensure all participants complete the tasks, assignments
Upon successful completion of course work, exams, soft / life skills training and on the job training with employers after 16 weeks, pre-apprentices will graduate with certifications that are nationally recognized by the Department of Labor, HBI and HBA. They are now certified with foundational skills and eligible to work as qualified workers in the building and construction industry.

This is an excellent choice and recommended for students who would like to continue training, education, qualification and career advancement of their pre-apprentices into a nationally certified and recognized full apprenticeship program which results in students receiving full credentials in their chosen trade.
